About oxford fabric

Also known as Oxford spinning, multi-purpose polyester/cotton blended yarn and cotton yarn interwoven, using the weft weight of square flat organization. It is easy to wash and dry, soft to feel, good moisture absorption and comfortable to wear. Appearance similar to dyed fabric. Named after the cotton fabric used in the first Oxford University student uniform shirts. In the 1900s, in order to fight against the fashion of showy and extravagant clothing, a small group of maverick students in Oxford University designed and processed combed cotton fabric by themselves. The fabric showed two-color effect, harmonious color, gentle and quiet, good air permeability, comfortable and natural. Driven by this, the fabric became a special school uniform of Oxford University, and became popular in Europe and America for a hundred years, known as Oxford spinning.

Fow now oxford fabric is widely used for bags, luggages, tents, etc.
